Technical setup notes
- Enclosed XIAO ESP32S3 + Wio-SX1262 kit. The enclosure variant shares the hardware-specific Meshtastic setup guide with the bare kit.
- Meshtastic and a single-channel LoRaWAN application are different firmware choices. Check or replace the installed application before configuring a network.
- Use the Seeed XIAO S3 target for Meshtastic, check antenna/region suitability and attach the antenna before transmitting.
- GNSS is an expansion function and is not implied by the presence of GPIO connections.
This device is based on XIAO ESP32S3 and Wio-SX1262 LoRa module. Coupled with an exquisite 3D - printed casing, it is equipped with an 868 - 915MHZ wide frequency range and 2dBi gain external antenna. It can support 2~5km single channel lorawan gateway and meshtastic communication. Through the GPIO port, it can be paired with GNSS modules and other additional modules.
