The module uses the FT232RL chip with USB 2.0 to convert USB into a serial port. It has two output levels of 3.3V and 5V, which can be set by short circuiting with SI through jumper caps.
It works great for programming microcontrollers such for Arduino, boarduino, Bareduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266, Mini minimOSD, and Atmel Xmega Xplained, Atmega328 mini pro, or any other that can be programmed over serial
After installing the driver,This FTDI TTL adapter will simulate a COM port on your computer/laptop.
Through this simulated COM port, you can communicate or program with various hardware or MCUs, such for Arduino board, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266, router and so on.
