Flash the correct XIAO S3 target, pair a phone, configure the LoRa region and verify two-way messages on the SX1262 kit.
Technical setup notes
- XIAO ESP32S3 paired with its kit-compatible Wio-SX1262 extension; use the correct LoRa antenna before transmitting.
- The Meshtastic USB flashing target is Seeed XIAO S3. This ESP32-S3 controller does not use the nRF52840/NRF-OTA update route.
- Choose the software region for the deployment and match the second node modem/channel settings. An enclosure or antenna option does not identify the installed firmware.
- Radio range depends on antenna, mounting and environment; verify two-way communication with a nearby node before a range test.
