Solar cell maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is to ensure that when the light intensity changes, the photovoltaic cell always outputs maximum power to make full use of solar energy. Under normal circumstances, a switching mode DC-DC converter needs to be used to implement the MPPT function to maximize the product of output voltage and charging current (output power). CN3722 uses switching step-down mode DC-DC conversion to achieve the maximum output of photovoltaic cells. Power point tracking function, its input voltage can reach up to 28V, which is very suitable for applications where the input voltage and battery voltage are very different.
